These decorative pieces are very simple to construct - while not wasting any scrap wood. The middle diamond has an inverted design from the other two for uniqueness.

Once the final paint is applied they will add much elegance to the look. Posted by Picasa

The inside ain't as pretty, huh. It's just waiting for paint!  Posted by Picasa

Piece de resistance

This custom piece I built is called an: Entablature ()

But it is not from the the Doric, Ionic, or Corinthian orders... it is from the very old and rare Mannian order. :-)

To the author of this project... these (3) accent pieces represent:
The Three Jewels
Peace, Love, Happiness
The Past, Present, and Future Posted by Picasa

The AFTER picture!! The door is complete along with some handsome custom elegance added for a special customer. Posted by Picasa

Our workers can also convert Patio tables into workbenches when the owner is not looking too! Don't worry lady... it'l be fine... nah... the glass never breaks, really. Posted by Picasa

As the door had not arrived yet... we had to keep Sadie (the blonde Lab) warm at night. Actually I think she was hoping it was going to be her new dog door. :-) Posted by Picasa

Here's a view from the inside as I demo'd the wall. And that is NOT my fingerprints on the Frig door! Coffee?! Is that fresh cawfee? Posted by Picasa

The door opening is made.  Posted by Picasa

Down to the guts. Posted by Picasa

That's the frig! Not good as the workers keep eating instead of working! Posted by Picasa

The quest for more light begins... This is the original heavy wooden window which sits in a little cove inside the kitchen area. I've already demo'd the sash, sill and trim. Posted by Picasa
